I have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, but decided a hand mixer would be handy, and I might use it more often than the big mixer. So I ordered a Kitchen Aid, assuming it would be high quality. I'm afraid it's only an okay product.
The wire beaters seem flimsy. I know the design is supposed to make them resist clogging, but they seem to be cheaply made. And they did clog, when making cookie dough. By the way, there is a right beater and a left beater and they must be inserted that way.
Overall the mixer works so I'll keep it. But i don't think it's any better than another brand I could have gotten for half the price. I'm afraid I paid for the name, and not for high quality.

I love this product- dough hooks are a plus-I make a lot of breads and now I don't have to get out the bread machine or my big kitchenaid mixer-I'm 71 and sometimes its hard to carry all those big products around-love it alot

My older Cuisinart hand mixer had finally gone bad after 25 years. I could not find a new one on Amazon and had good experiences with Kitchen Aid so we decided to try this one. It came quickly and well packaged. It includes a dough mixer and mixing blade (1) for making milkshakes, soups or other liquids and sauces. Works very smoothly and the 5 speeds are nice. Glad we bought it. Hope it is built like my Cuisinart and will last 25 years more.
