5Good price.
By D. Paulson
I found this to be the best price I could find on this circuit board. I ordered it, and it arrived quickly. It took about 5 minutes to replace, and the mixer now works like it is supposed to.

5Just the part I needed
By jBee
My KitchenAid Mixer recently broke down - would only run on high speed. So I contacted the closest repair shop (which was over 2 hours away) and they told me it was likely the phase board which would cost me about $35 to fix. I didn't want to ship my mixer to them (too expensive) and we weren't traveling that way any time soon, and I wanted it fixed ASAP since I was missing out on valuable baking time, so I started searching online to see if I could fix it myself. I found this part on a few different sites but here on Amazon was the best deal and still cheaper than the repair guy told me it would be. So I ordered the part, found a video on YouTube and literally fixed my machine in less than five minutes and it has worked perfectly ever since! So glad I decided to try to do it myself!

5solves your hyperspeed problem in 15 minutes!
By Beth M. Torola
Downloaded and read the factory manual troubleshooting guide for my Kitchenaid K45SS which is 25 years old. The manual suggested that this phase control board was the culprit, and it was there in time for mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving! No modifications needed, just plug in and tighten one screw. Then follow the simple speed control adjustment shown in the manual, and you have saved a bunch of money, impressed your spouse, and kept another piece of scrap out of the landfill, how cool is that?
