This fit my KSM90 perfectly.

I broke my speed control when I took my mixer apart to try and 'fix' the noise it was making. Well, I fixed it pretty good when I overtightened the bolts on the speed control trying to adjust the speed.
Fortunately it was easy to swap out - just take one wire at a time and slide the connectors off the old speed control and onto the new one (if you try to do them all at once you could make a mistake). Locking needle nose pliers helped with the little hook deal on the bottom of the speed control plate and also helped wriggle the connectors off the old control.
The tricky part is getting your mixer tuned. Once you have the new speed control installed, you will need to adjust the bolts until you get the speeds you want then tighten down the nuts to lock the bolts in place. Also, the little screw on the bottom of the speed control seems to affect the speed, so it can help to play with it a little.
Replacing this part isn't hard, and is definitely cheaper than buying a new mixer or taking it to a repair shop.
The mixer works properly now, and the noise is gone.

Worked perfectly. Had no problem installing it. Acouple of adjustments and it was good to go. Other stores were higher and your part was very reasonable.

80's K-45 Fixed!!!

80's vintage K-45 mixer with a broken speed control... This fit and works perfectly. Look on Youtube on how to "tune" your mixer after replacing your speed control. It will help!
