The old part was broken and the new part is working great. I used the Internet to figure out what I needed and found it not to difficult to change. Someone else may have other parts worn out, but I was lucky.

I bought it for KitchenAid replace part, after setup it works fine like now and cheap then you sent back to repair.

A few years back, I had pried the planetary cover from the shaft spline and tried to put it back, but it would work its way out. The new part is well made and cheap considering the money I spent on the professional 6 qt model and the attachments. The unit is back in use with the new part. the delivery was prompt. The installation was easy.
